Thousand lives

Thousand lives

I want to live a thousand lives
And that too all in one lifetime.
A reckless wind uprooting vines.
Such will be my relentless prime.
A thousand roles I’ll play in life.
A pawn, a king a soldier and all.
To beat it or to lead a strife
I’ll go to places big and small
To answer my destiny’s call.

A thousand different songs I’ll write.
A thousand different fantasies.
They’ll love me for my wit and might
At crafting thousands of stories.
A thousand different realities
I want to live in one lifetime.
And to leave a thousand legacies
Before thousand different ways I’ll die.
Such is the humble dream of mine.
